Hello and welcome.
I am a qualified counsellor and a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I work with young people and adults in both short term and long term counselling, and offer a warm welcome and calm presence in comfortable surroundings to help put you at ease.
I have a private practice just outside Winchester, Hampshire and am currently also working as a Counsellor for the University of Southampton. I have also been a Bereavement Counsellor for St Michael’s Hospice in Basingstoke and an Associate Counsellor at Peter Symonds Sixth Form College, Winchester.
It’s not always easy to talk to family or friends about your thoughts and feelings.
You may be worried about the effect that sharing these would have on them - or they themselves may be part of the problem.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental, confidential space where you can say how you really feel - and tell the situation as it really is. In a gently challenging but highly supportive and compassionate way, I can help you explore what is important to you and what changes you may like to make.
Taking the first step in seeking help can be difficult, especially if you have never had counselling before.
This is why I have detailed as much information in my website as I can to give you an insight into counselling, who I am, how I work and how I can help you to find your emotional wellbeing.
